About Us

ACKM stands for Alex, Cayleen, Kristopher, and Matthew.

We got the idea to start making games during a game night when our neighbor brought over some new cards games for us to try and our dad recognized the creator of Grandpa Becks Games. At first we thought it was crazy that our dad knew "Grandpa Beck" from when he was in school. Then we thought...if dad's friend can make card games, so can we. Within a week we were cutting out our first prototype and putting them in sleeves so we could test it. That's when our parents knew we were serious and ACKM Games was started.

We have three rules when making games.

1. It should be easy to learn. Easier to learn equals sooner we can play.

2. Everyone can play (6+ players because no one wants to wait).

3. It has to be fun. Long term playability is important.

I'm Alex. I am a big D&D gamer and will DM with my brother and friends when I'm not playing Fortnight or something from Bethesda. My favorite types of games are Trading Card Games (TCG). I got started playing Magic the Gathering and am now into Yugioh.

I'm Cayleen. I am the artist of the bunch. I do acrylic paintings and sketches. I love everything Broadway. Hamilton is my favorite musical. I also love to read science fiction. My favorite card game is 52 Card Pick Up...if I'm the dealer.

I'm Kristopher. If I'm not the biggest gamer in the family, I'm the best. Right now I'm mostly playing Fortnight. I've also been binging through the Naruto animee and playing some of the old games. I play TCGs also. My favorite card games are ones that need strategy.

I'm Matthew. My favorite things to do are play the Nintendo Switch and watch YouTube, but I will stop everything to play outside with friends. My favorite card games are ones where I can be on a team.
